January brought with it new enthusiasm for the band and the goal of going to Nashville. This meant Song Writing! In just two weeks, the band had 6 originals – lyrics and charts all completed. It is amazing the talent we have within the walls of Korah. Mustang Sally will begin to perform the new ORIGINAL songs at the Bon Soo United Way fundraiser February 6th as well as at various other performances including their GREAT BIG GIG Apirl 9th and their GREAT BIG TOUR in May! Mustang Sally is planning to travel to NASHVILLE May 26 to June 1, 2010 to showcase their original songs at various establishments.
The band is currently hard at work preparing for their GREAT BIG GIG which will be held at the Great Northern Conference Centre April 9th. Tickets are $10.00 and are available in the main office, from any band members, the hotel front desk or by emailing Ms. Barbeau at barbeaj@email.adsb.on.ca. On January 29th band members went out to local businesses collecting donations to raffle at their Great Big Gig. Thank you to all community members who have donating to this event.
